Terms of Service
By accessing or using LLVPN, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. Roles and Responsibilities
- Hosting Providers: If you create a hosting instance, you are the legal entity operating and delivering the service. You are solely responsible for the code you run, the configuration you provide, the outputs produced, and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and third‑party rights.
- LLVPN Platform: LLVPN is an intermediary that facilitates discovery, request routing, and payments between API users and hosting providers. LLVPN does not author, operate, or control hosted services and does not act as your agent, employer, or partner.
- API Users: You are responsible for evaluating services (including reviewing the open‑source code), complying with laws and third‑party rights, and using services responsibly.
2. Pricing and Payments
- Each service may apply a fixed or dynamic pricing structure.
- Hosting instances may use fixed pricing (host chooses a specific price) or flexible pricing (platform sets the price, host sets a minimum that will never be undercut).
- Selection logic: If a fixed price at or below the current price exists, that instance is selected and the current price drops to that fixed price. Otherwise, the platform selects the flexible instance that has not been used for the longest and pays it the current price; if none has a minimum ≤ current price, the current price raises to the lowest flexible minimum and that instance is used.
- API users pay a platform markup above the current price. Requests may include
max_pricein the query string to enforce a maximum acceptable user price. - Payments are processed and allocated as described; LLVPN may charge fees or maintain platform margins as reflected in prices paid vs. amounts credited to providers.
3. Prohibited Conduct
- Do not use services for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- Do not infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, or violate export, data protection, or other applicable laws.
4. Content, Code, and Transparency
- Hosted service code is open source for transparency and community review. LLVPN does not warrant the accuracy, safety, or legality of any service or output.
- You are responsible for securing any data or secrets you supply to services.
5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
- LLVPN provides the platform “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, LLVPN is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, or for any losses arising from services, outputs, or interactions between users and providers.
6. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold LLVPN harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to your services, configuration, use, or outputs.
7. Suspension and Takedown
LLVPN may suspend or remove hosting instances or services that violate these terms, applicable law, or upon receiving credible reports of abuse. Please report suspected abuse so we can review and act appropriately.
8. Privacy and Logs
LLVPN may process minimal technical logs (e.g., timestamps, usage metrics) for billing, security, and abuse prevention. LLVPN does not assume control over service data outputs.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
